Fire Senses Poems

Room 6 had to think about how fire felt, looked, smelled, tasted, sounds.
Fire smells like smoke and burning wood.
Fire feels like a hot oven and sore.
Fire sounds like sizzling sausages and popping corn.
Fire tastes like burnt toast and burnt meat
Fire looks yellow and red.
By Kezia

Fire looks like the bright colours as the sunsets.
Fire smells like a kind of gas.
Fire tastes like burnt toast.
Fire sounds like sizzling patties.
Fire feels like hot, hot water.
By Jared.

Fire sounds like wind.
Fire looks like bright colours.
Fire smells like gas.
Fire tastes like burnt chips
Fire feels like hot water.
By Awhina.

Fire looks like hot colours of red, orange and yellow.
Fire sounds like sizzling sausages.
Fire smells like the smoke from Grandad's drum.
Fire tastes like hot and burnt toast.
Fire feels like boiling water from the jug.
By Katie.

Fire looks orange and yellow.
Fire sounds like crackling.
Fire tastes like burnt toast.
Fire smells like gas.
Fire feels like an oven top.
By Holden.
